| Plot |
| Summer camp will never be the same again. A group of teenagers (Adrienne King, Kevin Bacon, Jeannine Taylor, Mark Nelson, Robbi Morgan) gather in rural upstate New York to renovate and re-open an abandoned summer camp for children. Camp Crystal Lake (locally nicknamed Camp Blood) is a secluded, lakeside camp and was the scene of a drowning many years ago. Closed ever since the tragedy, it has been the site of strange happenings and is rumored to be haunted. Ignoring the locals, most of the staff don't give any credence to the scary stories as they are busy with plenty of work and more focused on boy-meets-girl than camper-meets-ghoul. |
