| The story revolves around a group of boys Stacy (John Robinson), Jay (Emile Hirsch) and Tony (Victor Rasuk). The movie is actually inspired by real life skateboarders Stacy, Jay and Tony who became brilliant players in course of time. The story progresses as these three local skaters are teamed up by the skate shop owner Skip Engblom(Heath Ledger). Starting their practice from swimming pools they mastered their skill so beautifully that it gave a new direction to skate boarding sport. This sport not only gave them name and fame but created so much hype that generation after generation, young people joined it. The three boys not only developed professionally but also as good friends. The movie takes us through the lives of the three boys, the ups and downs both in their professional as well as in their personal life. |
