| After graduating from law school, Sonny (Adam Sandler) does not take life very seriously and is not pursuing a decent career. This results in his girlfriend leaving him. Sonny, trying to show his maturity, thinks he can impress his girlfriend and win her back by adopting a 5-year old boy, Julian (Cole Sprouse / Dylan Sprouse), who is his best friend’s son. After some time, Sonny develops a relationship with the child, they have a great time and Sonny is starting to learn what responsibility is all about. He even tries to get custody of Julian. |
