| Plot |
| When the friend of Detroit police detective Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) is murdered, Foley traces the homicide all the way to Beverly Hills art importer Victor Maitland (Steven Berkoff). In order to find out the motive, Foley travels to the glamorous city, butting heads with local officer Sgt. John Taggart (John Ashton), his partner William 'Billy' Rosewood (Judge Reinhold), and their boss Lt. Andrew Bogomil (Ronny Cox). Foley gets assistance from old school friend Jeannette 'Jenny' Summers (Lisa Eilbacher), who also works at Maitland's gallery, while running afoul of Maitland's chief enforcer Zack (Jonathan Banks). |
