| Plot |
| A young boy name Alec Ramsey (Kelly Reno), is shipwrecked along with a beautiful wild Arabian stallion. Alec befriends the horse, which becomes known as 'Black', through simple persistence and patience. When a fishing ship one day arrives to find Alec, he is rescued and taken home, and so is the stallion, whom he has both befriended and learned to ride through trial and error. Back home Alec keeps Black in his backyard, until he is spooked and runs off, later to be found by Alec at the stable of Henry Dailey (Mickey Rooney). Before long Alec and Henry and working with Black on racing, taking Alec back to the wild rides on the beach with Black. Eventually the Black and Alec end up racing against two champion race horses, bringing to free spirits together in a great championship race. |
