| Plot |
| Tom Cruise narrates this IMAX film that incorporates 3D technology. Viewers can wear goggles to watch it and get the full effects. The film covers 40 years of working in outer space and much of the camera work was done by astronauts from several nations. Recognizable locations include the United States Kennedy Space Center and a part of West Africa. The opening of the film is a simulation done on a computer that shows an accident during a space walk; the astronaut loses his attachment to the station. The sounds heard during the film give the viewer a feeling of actually being there with the astronauts. There is also footage of caring for plants on the station, as well as the storage of provisions in free-fall. |
