Plot
Based on a true story, "Invincible" follows Vincent Papale (Mark Wahlberg) on his quest to find meaning in his life. When the 1976 Philadelphia Eagles hold open tryouts after an extended losing streak, Papale is the only participant of thousands to receive a callback to the Eagles training camp. The Eagles' new coach (Greg Kinnear) is the only one who believes in Papale, but, after preseason losses, he begins to doubt the wisdom of his decision. Papale nearly gives up on his dreams of playing football, until the support of his father, friends and love interest convince him to give it one more shot. Papale goes on to become one of the most successful Eagles to play the game.
