| Plot |
| Bruce Wayne (Michael Keaton) is a mild-mannered millionaire who has a huge passion for philanthropy. As a young boy, he witnessed his parents’ murder, which inspired him to become a crusader for justice. With the help of Alfred (Michael Gough), his faithful butler, he disguises himself with unique body armor and calls himself Batman. Intensifying matters is a photojournalist named Vicki Vale (Kim Basinger), who is trying to uncover the identity of the winged crusader. While Ms. Vale is trying to expose Batman’s identity, a demented criminal named Joker (Jack Nicholson) threatens the well-being of Gotham City. Will Bruce Wayne be able to save the day, or will Vicki Vale unmask the hero and thwart his plans in stopping the villain's evil plot? |
