| Plot |
| The civil war is over. Lincoln was shot and the Union troops oppress the members of defeated army of the South including future famous outlaw Jesse James (Colin Farrell) and his gang. Once returned back home they expected restful living but the land is badgered by Northern Railway Company usurping the grounds to build railroad. Jesse James and his friends headed by Cole Younger (Scott Caan) naturally will not let the company annex their land and stand up to Allan Pinkerton (Timothy Dalton) who was hired by the company to lead the construction works. After burn-out of their houses they become outlaws robbering banks and trains in order to weaken the company and prevent them from finishing the railroad construction. |
